A World Record

Measuring the lines

I wanted to give everyone an update on what transpired on March 18, 2018. I started the morning a bit apprehensive as to what was going to happen. Were people going to show up? Would I have enough bread tag chain? Were the kids going to be happy about their power wheel cars? Overall, it went amazingly. People started showing up early and everyone really enjoyed making the chains. We gave away door prizes every 15 minutes along with giving around 3 power wheel vehicles to promote Disability Awareness Month. Everyone had fun and it was a successful event. We unofficially created a world record. We used over 44, 982 bread tags. Now, I have to get all the paper work and go through a lot of footage to send the Guinness to become official. I would like to thank the community for coming together to promote environmental sustainability as well as Disability Awareness Month. I would also like to thank all the people that donated prizes for this event:The Indianapolis Colts, The Indiana Pacers, The Chicago Cubs, The White Sox, The St. Louis Cardinals,The Indianapolis Indians, Reverb, The Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre, Which Wich, Basket Pizazz, Fresh To Order, Debbie Rowlison and the Pike's Robotic Club. Thanks again EVERYONE!!!!
